Dell 3115cn – A Well-Rounded Printer That Keeps On Printing
The Dell 3115cn color laser printer is what’s known as an “all-in-one.” By that, we mean it combines color printing along with fax and scan capabilities. It works well as a standalone unit, or as part of a small workgroup network of computers. The Dell 3115cn Cartridge are also relatively inexpensive and can be found without any problem. This unit has a good print speed and a high maximum duty cycle. It also comes in under 500 dollars, so the initial cost for such a versatile machine is low right out of the box.

If you’re just starting out in your business, the fact that it’s an all-in-one could be a plus. You won’t need to buy separate fax and scanner machines, leaving a bit more green in your wallet for other more important business matters. The unit also helps manage document archiving through its proprietary PaperPort 10 software. And the fax can serve solo or through a linked-in PC or network.
Keeping Track of Toners. All printers eventually need new toner. Dell’s tracking system (included with the printer) makes getting it done relatively easily. It’ll even send you an email telling you when it’s time to feed it some more toner. Also, you can select which among your network of computers will be allowed to print color documents and which won’t. This can save precious color printing resources.
It’s Multi-Dimensional. With a machine as versatile as the Dell 3115cn and its Dell 3115cn laser toners, high volume print jobs can be handled with little muss or fuss. And because it’s an all-in-one, there’s little worry about also hooking up scanners or faxes. It comes with USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports along with an optional 802.11 wireless capability, which might help eliminate unsightly wires and cables lying around in the office.
Memory-Plus. The 3115cn comes preinstalled with 128 megabytes of memory, and can be scaled all the way up to a whopping 1152 megs, which is probably more than enough for the average home-based or small office business. With a standard 550 sheet paper storage capacity (expandable to 950 sheets), chances are it’s more than up to the challenge of any task given to it.
